Corporate Social Responsibility

ItaQ's overall goal is to work towards a sustainable economy. Attention should be paid to People, Planet & Profit, in short, a healthy environment with the possibility of conducting business in a socially responsible manner.

For ItaQ, sustainable and corporate social responsibility is not a noble kind of altruism, but we give it concrete substance. Our motto is TINA “There Is No Alternative". For example, we endorse the ILO declaration and put our money where our mouth is by going much further in our CSR policy than our competitors.

Our policy is based on the 7E model and we measure per subject with subcategories where we are now and where we want to be in the future. Some concrete examples: sustainable housing, policy to discourage car use, energy-saving measures, staff recruitment policy should reflect Dutch society, incentive for development and education, childcare options, clientele ethics (we deliberately do not work for certain industries), ethical position with regard to gifts and much more.

We are convinced that a company should really want CSR itself. If the will is not there, it quickly ends. People then do "window dressing" and our stakeholders mercilessly see through this.

Dare to have a Dream

In the 'Dare to have a Dream program', the Dutch Dream Foundation brings together top managers and promising 'new entrepreneurs'. Our CEO Hassan Tagi has been asked to transfer his knowledge and insights. He coaches, stimulates and makes his network and own organization available in order to contribute to the success of the entrepreneur. Tagi guides the entrepreneur for a year.

Ride for the Roses

Ride for the Roses is a bike ride in the fight against cancer. The rose symbolizes a morning for everyone. The success of Ride for the Roses lies in its unique formula. Working together with about 10,000 cycling enthusiasts in a sporty, healthy and enjoyable way and at the same time making a stand against cancer by raising money for the Dutch Cancer Society. Our Controller, Debby van der Knaap, participated and cycled in a considerable number of euros.

Robert Kalkman Foundation

ItaQ sponsors the Robert Kalkman Foundation. This foundation aims to help children and young people who are affected by cancer and/or have a physical disability with relaxation and distraction during their illness. The Robert Kalkman Foundation does this by offering children an unforgettable golf experience or even a new sporting challenge with their passion for golf.
